Why do I keep getting alerts for documents that are for a different person?
You may have a common name, or someone that has signed up for alerts has the same name. If the document does not pertain to your property then please disregard.
How can I unregister?
Click the Unregister (Remove From List) button after you enter your information.
Does this prevent someone from selling my home?
This is a FREE alert system, this is only activated if someone records a document into Official Records using the name that was registered. After you receive the email, be sure to look at the document ensuring that it is not fraudulent in nature.
Who do I contact if it is Fraud?
If the document is fraudulent, you will want to seek legal advice immediately, as well as reach out to the local law enforcement. If the document in question is a deed or transfer of property, you may also wish to reach out to the Property Appraiser’s office.
Can I register my Property Address or Parcel Number?
At this time, you can register your individual name, business name, or name of your trust. The program retrieves information based on what has been indexed in our Official Records.
What if the property has more than one owner?
You can register multiple names with the same email. Once you authenticate your email address, enter the personal or business names you wish to get email alerts for, then click Register.
How do I enter a Trust name?
You would select Business Name, enter the trust name, only type out the name to the word trust. For instance, John Smith Revocable Trust Agreement dated 2024. This would be indexed in our system as ‘John Smith Revocable Trust’.
